When can I withdraw money from my SIMPLE IRA?
You can begin withdrawing from your SIMPLE IRA without penalties once you reach age 59½.
If you withdraw funds before that age and don’t qualify for an exception (such as certain medical expenses, unemployment, or higher education costs), you may owe an early withdrawal penalty of 10% or 25%, depending on how long you've had the account.
