How to remove authenticator setup for Two-Factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an important layer of security to your WealthRabbit account. If you choose to remove the authenticator app, your account will rely solely on phone number verification, reducing overall protection. If you still wish to proceed, follow the steps below:

Note: Removing the authenticator setup means you'll no longer receive verification codes through an authenticator app. Your account will only use phone number verification for 2FA.
Steps to Remove the Authenticator App:

Step 1: Log in to your WealthRabbit account and click ‘My Profile’ in the left-hand menu.


Step 2: In the My Profile settings, locate the Two-Factor Authentication section. Click the arrow on the right side to manage your 2FA settings.

 


Step 3:  On the Two-Factor Authentication page, click ‘Remove’ next to the authenticator app option.


Step 4: For security purposes, you’ll be prompted to enter your account password. After entering it, click ‘Remove’ to confirm.

Once completed, the authenticator app will be removed from your account. You can re-enable it at any time by following the setup steps again.
