How can I enable Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your WealthRabbit account, keeping it protected even if your password is compromised. At WealthRabbit, you can enable 2FA using your phone number and an authenticator app. Follow the below steps below to enable 2FA.

Enable 2FA via Phone Number

Step 1: After signing up and completing the initial setup, you'll reach a page prompting you to enable 2FA. Click ‘Setup’ under the phone number option.



Step 2: Enter your phone number and click ‘Get code’ to receive a verification code via SMS. You can update the number if needed.

Step 3:  Enter the code you received and click ‘Verify’.

Step 4: Click ‘Next’ to continue to the authenticator app setup. You can still change your phone number at this point if necessary.

Enable 2FA via Authenticator App

Step 1:  Click ‘Setup’ under the authenticator app option.

Step 2: Scan the QR code using your authenticator app, or manually enter the provided secret key.

Step 3: Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app. These codes refresh every 30 seconds—if it expires, simply enter the next one. Click ‘Verify’ to continue.



Download Backup Codes

Once 2FA setup is complete, you’ll be directed to a page with your backup codes. Click ‘Reveal codes’ and download them. Be sure to store the codes securely—you’ll need them if you lose access to your phone or authenticator app.
