How to create a SIMPLE IRA plan for my client?

WealthRabbit makes it easy for accountants to set up and manage SIMPLE IRA plans for their clients. Just follow these steps

Step 1: Sign In
Log in to your WealthRabbit account.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity
Complete the two-factor authentication process to ensure secure access.

Step 3: Set Up Your Accountant Profile
Enter your information, review it for accuracy, and click "Save and Continue."


Step 4: Add Team Members (Optional)
You can invite team members and assign them to manage specific clients.
Learn more about the different roles and responsibilities of team management. 


Step 5: Choose a Subscription Plan
Select the plan that fits your business. You can also set a default billing option for future clients. Click "Save and Continue" to proceed.


Step 6: Add Your Client
Click "Add Client" and fill in their information to begin their retirement plan setup.

Step 7: Choose an Onboarding Method:
You’ll be asked how you want to onboard your client. You can:

  • Add & Onboard Client Yourself – Manually enter their details and complete the setup.
  • Add & Invite Client to Self-Onboard – Let clients set up their own plan via an invite link.
  • Add & Assign to Team Member – Delegate onboarding to a team member.

In this example, we’ll choose "Add & Onboard Client Yourself."


Step 8: Enter Client Information
Fill in your client’s basic details and click "Save and Continue."


Step 9: Set Up the Retirement Plan
Follow the guided steps to complete the SIMPLE IRA setup. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

Once the plan is created, you can invite employees to enroll and start managing their accounts.
