How do I know if my business is exempt from disclosing the beneficial owners?

Beneficial owners are the individuals who directly or indirectly own or control a company. If the account maintained by the legal entity is defined under 31 CFR 1010.230 (E) (2-3), then the business is exempt from identifying and verifying the beneficial owners.
